Terms of service

Last updated

By using Rozwo you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, do not connect your Strava account.

What Rozwo is

Rozwo is a free, independent training dashboard that reads your Strava activities, computes training-load metrics and generates automated training suggestions. It is a personal project, provided as-is.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava, Inc.

Using the service

You need a Strava account and you must authorise Rozwo to read it. You are responsible for keeping your Strava account secure, and for the accuracy of what you enter in your athlete passport — the metrics are computed from it.

You agree not to attempt to access another athlete’s data, to disrupt the service, or to use it in a way that breaches Strava’s API terms.

The coaching advice is not medical advice

This is the part that matters.

The recommendations are produced automatically by a large language model from your training-load metrics. They are not medical advice, not physiotherapy, and not a substitute for a qualified coach or a doctor. They can be wrong, they do not know about an illness, an injury or a constraint you have not entered, and they take no responsibility for how you train.

Endurance training carries a risk of injury. You decide what you do, and you do it at your own risk. If you have a health condition, if you are recovering from an injury, or if anything hurts, consult a healthcare professional before acting on anything you read here.

Availability

The service is provided without any guarantee of availability, correctness or continuity. It may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time, without notice. The training metrics depend on what Strava returns; if Strava changes or restricts its API, features may stop working.

Your data

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes Rozwo’s access to your Strava account.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rozwo and its maintainer are not liable for any injury, loss of data, loss of performance, or any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of the service or from following its recommendations.

Intellectual property

Rozwo’s source code is not public. It remains the property of its maintainer, and no right to copy, modify or redistribute it is granted. Your activity data remains yours. “Strava” and the Strava marks belong to Strava, Inc.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.

If you use Rozwo as a consumer resident in the European Union, that does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before its courts.

Any dispute should be raised at loan.janczak+rozwo@gmail.com first — most are settled that way. Failing an amicable settlement, it falls to the competent French courts.

Changes

These terms may change; the date above says when they last did. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Publisher and host

Rozwo is published by Pierre-Loan Janczak. Questions about these terms, or about your data: loan.janczak+rozwo@gmail.com.

The site and the application are hosted by Render Services, Inc., 525 Brannan Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States — render.com.
